Nancy O'Dell started her career in broadcasting by working as an anchor at WPDE-TV, Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Later, she was a morning news anchor on WCBD TV and acted as an investigative reporter. The work of O'Dell in Charleston about the police's leniency toward DUI cases has led to an investigation by the State Law Enforcement Division investigating the instances. Ms. O'Dell was recognized by The Associated Press with the Best Report of the Year Awards to all media South Carolina. In the years following her stay in Charleston, O'Dell worked as an anchor co-host for NBC's Miami Station WTVJ-TV and as an investigative reporter. After that, she joined Access Hollywood to work as an anchor on weekends and weekdays. In addition, she serves as a co-anchor on Dateline NBC and NBC News Today. She's been a reporter for the Academy Awards The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards and co-hosted various pre-show arrivals shows for The Emmys And The Golden Globes.
